Job Title: Shipping Associate                                       Pay Range: $9 - $16

Position Overview: As a Shipping Associate, you will play a crucial role in our warehouse operations by ensuring the efficient packing and shipping of our product. This position requires attention to detail, organization, and a strong work ethic to maintain our standards of excellence in product handling and fulfillment.

Responsibilities:

• Safely and accurately pack candies into designated containers or packaging according to established guidelines and standards.
• Conduct quality checks on candies to ensure they meet company specifications before packing.
• Prepare shipping labels, packing slips, and other necessary documentation for outbound shipments.
• Utilize warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks, and forklifts (if certified), to transport and organize candy inventory as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization within the warehouse area to promote a safe and efficient working environment.
• Assist in inventory management tasks, including restocking shelves, and reporting any discrepancies to management.
• Collaborate with team members to meet daily production and shipping goals while adhering to deadlines.
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents or injuries in the workplace.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience working in a warehouse or fulfillment center environment is preferred but not required.
• Ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds safely and repetitively.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accuracy in packing and labeling tasks.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced setting.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
• Basic computer literacy for printing shipping labels and utilizing inventory management systems.
